The Keck School of Medicine’s research portfolio spans basic, translational, clinical, and epidemiological research, utilizing transdisciplinary and multi-institute collaborations as well as collaborations with industry.
MESH BDIR provides a sustainable and scaled networking service to USC investigators, entrepreneurs, and industry that focuses on relationship building and knowledge transfer to create long-term value.
The MESH Business Development and Industry Relations (BDIR) team is here to:
- Build relationships between USC researchers, physicians, and industry to create long-term value.
- Provide mentorship and support to USC entrepreneurs and startups
- Engage with local and global innovation ecosystems to support bioscience initiatives.

- Collaborate with various USC innovation resources, including Keck Foundation Relations, Department of Contracts and Grants, USC Stevens Center for Innovation, Alfred Mann Institute, and the Office of the General Counsel to successfully execute opportunities with the private sector.
