Michael Habib, PhD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Integrative Anatomical Sciences, served as an expert witness for the prosecution on the trial of Blake Leibel, a Canadian graphic artist on trial for mayhem, torture and the murder of 30-year-old Iana Kasian in West Hollywood, California. Deputy District Attorney Tannaz Mokayef called upon Dr. Habib’s expert knowledge of human anatomy in explaining to the jury the gruesome process by which Kasian’s attacker likely drained her body of blood.
