Keck School of Medicine of USC marks start of medical journey for Class of 2030 at White Coat Ceremony

On Friday, August 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Bovard Auditorium on the University Park Campus, the Keck School of Medicine of USC will welcome its newest cohort of medical students during the annual White Coat Ceremony.

The ceremony marks a pivotal milestone for the Class of 2030, as students don their white coats for the first time, symbolizing their formal entry into the medical profession. Rooted in a commitment to professionalism and humanism, the tradition underscores the responsibilities students undertake as they begin their medical education.

The event will conclude with students standing together to recite the medical school’s version of the Hippocratic Oath, pledging to practice medicine with integrity, compassion, and respect.
