Keck School of Medicine to welcome the next generation of medical leaders at the annual White Coat Ceremony

On August 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. on the Pappas Quad, incoming medical students will don their white coats for the first time in the annual White Coat Ceremony.

The ceremony signifies the beginning of a medical student’s journey towards becoming a physician, and aims to promote professionalism and humanism in the students as they start their medical education. The ceremony will conclude with the students standing up to recite the medical school’s version of the Hippocratic Oath, pledging to practice medicine with honor and respect.
