The USC Chapter of Blueprints for Pangaea (B4P) is making a significant impact by transforming surplus medical supplies into essential resources, enhancing healthcare access for underserved populations around the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n \n

This summer, the B4P USC Chapter partnered with Connect with Africa to deliver over 60 pallets of medical supplies, PPE, and sanitary products to hospitals in Nigeria, worth a total of $572,512. The Blueprints for Pangaea (B4P) USC Chapter<\/a> is dedicated to bridging the gap between surplus and scarcity in global healthcare. Each year, U.S. hospitals generate enormous amounts of unused yet usable medical supplies, while many underserved communities face critical shortages. B4P unites the two problems by reallocating these supplies to where they are most needed, improving healthcare quality and access for vulnerable populations worldwide, while sustainably minimizing medical waste. International shipments have provided vital support to communities in Mexico, Turkey, Armenia, Ukraine, Nigeria, Vietnam, Myanmar, and the Philippines.<\/p>\n

Since its founding, the USC chapter has reallocated more than 1.7 million dollars’ worth of medical supplies to local clinics and international communities.<\/p>\n

Over the summer, B4P collaborated with Connect with Africa, sending more than 60 pallets of medical supplies, PPE, and sanitary products, valued at over $573,000, to hospitals in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Besides the Nigeria shipment, recent efforts include donating $42,000 in supplies to Helping Hand Relief and Development, supporting hospitals in Pakistan that are recovering from natural disasters and poverty. The B4P team also provided more than 7,000 N95 masks to Los Angeles organizations assisting with relief efforts in the aftermath of the 2025 LA wildfires. B4P also worked with the Long Beach Public Health Emergency Management team to contribute $47,000 of critical items to their warehouse.<\/p>\n

Through these efforts, the USC chapter continues to expand its reach by reallocating medical waste into lifesaving resources and advancing its mission to address healthcare inequity both locally and globally.<\/p>\n
