Program Overview

This is a year-long program which provides a broad clinical experience in all aspects of PET as well as cross-sectional CT. Training emphasis will be placed on the use of multi-modality imaging approach to the diagnosis of disease, including correlative metabolic and anatomic imaging using Siemens Biograph HD with LSO technology and 64-channel CT.

The qualified candidates will have successfully completed board certification or be board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology or Nuclear Medicine in an ACGME accredited program and hold a California License.

Candidates are encouraged to participate in active ongoing research programs in oncology, neurology, cardiology and infectious disease. Each fellow will be mentored in an original research project. Presentation at meetings and the preparation of a manuscript for publication is expected.

Should you be selected for the fellowship program you will be required to have a California Medical License, a California Fluoroscopy Certificate, and a DEA License. You will also need to be eligible to sit for ABNM or ABR exams. USC offers competitive salary and excellent fringe benefits.
