The Vice Dean for Research provides letters in support of grant applications and coordinates with the dean’s office for letters that must be signed by the dean. Please contact Janet Stoeckert or Marie Choi in Keck Research Administration with questions or requests.
Funding Opportunities
The KSOM Research Administration Office can assist investigators in finding sponsored funding opportunities and making contact with sponsored program staff. Please contact Rosary Videc with questions or requests. The office sends out a weekly Keck Newsletter with funding opportunities specific to the Keck School of Medicine community.
The USC Office of Research offers a wide range of internal and external funding sources for research and other scholarly projects.
Instructions, Budgets, Forms, Boiler Plate Material
The Office of Research Administration within Keck Research provides assistance in interpreting instructions, constructing budgets, and finding/ completing forms. This office can also assist with boiler plate material such as is needed for grant proposal resource pages. Please contact Janet Stoeckert or Marie Choi with questions or requests.
Institutional and Team Grants Support
Keck Research provides comprehensive support for development of institutional and team grant proposals, such as program project grants, center grants, and training grants. This support includes provision of boilerplate material, assistance with letters of support, coordination of data for tables, grant assembly, reviewing, and other support as needed. The office does not have a specific deadline for notification about need for institutional grants support services, however the more lead time that is given, the more help can be provided.
