USC Roski Eye Institute Glaucoma Service offers a one-year Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology (AUPO) FCC compliant fellowship in glaucoma management and surgery. Clinical experience consists of glaucoma faculty clinics, as well as clinics at Los Angeles General Medical CenterFellows have an opportunity to manage complex adult and pediatric glaucoma patients with supervision from the faculty.

The surgical experience is broad and includes conventional surgery, such as glaucoma drainage devices (Baerveldt/Ahmed), trabeculectomies (fornix/limbal based), goniotomies, trabeculotomies and novel techniques, such as iStent, trabectome and express shunt. We also perform transscleral CPC and ECPC. USC Roski Eye Institute has state of the art imaging and research facilities that add to the well-rounded experience offered during this important year of training.

Fellows have an opportunity to attend and present at ophthalmology meetings in the United States and abroad.
