About the Fellowship Programs

Fellowships offer specialized training and intensive clinical and research experience and the opportunity to work side-by-side with some of the nation’s leading scientists and physicians in clinical care and research. For one to three years, fellows work in a supervisory capacity to our PGY1-4 residents, receiving departmental fellowships that pay for tuition and provide a monthly stipend.

Guided by senior physician educators, medical residents undergo rigorous professional training designed to prepare them for independent medical practice and board certification. Fellows train at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center — one of the country’s largest teaching hospitals—or state-of-the-art private hospitals such as Keck Hospital of USC and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
