About the Fellowship Programs
Fellowships offer specialized training and intensive clinical and research experience and the opportunity to work side-by-side with some of the nation’s leading scientists and physicians in clinical care and research. For one to three years, fellows work in a supervisory capacity to our PGY1-4 residents, receiving departmental fellowships that pay for tuition and provide a monthly stipend.
Guided by senior physician educators, medical residents undergo rigorous professional training designed to prepare them for independent medical practice and board certification. Fellows train at Los Angeles General Medical Center — one of the country’s largest teaching hospitals—or state-of-the-art private hospitals such as Keck Hospital of USC and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
