Caruso Department of Otolaryngology is one of the nation&#8217;s leading ENT programs. Our <a href=\"https:\/\/keck.usc.edu\/otolaryngology\/faculty\/\">faculty<\/a> bring deep expertise across <a href=\"https:\/\/keck.usc.edu\/otolaryngology\/patient-care\/\">every clinical subspecialty<\/a>, including otology, head and neck cancer, laryngology, facial plastics, rhinology, sleep medicine, pediatric otolaryngology, audiology, and speech-language pathology.<\/p>\n<p>We are #1 in NIH <a href=\"https:\/\/keck.usc.edu\/otolaryngology\/research\/\">research funding in otolaryngology<\/a> in Southern California. Our faculty bring expertise across all subspecialties, translating research findings into advanced treatments. We translate these discoveries into treatments through clinical centers of excellence, including the Cochlear Implant Program, Head and Neck Center, Voice Center, Acoustic Neuroma Center, and Caruso Family Center for Childhood Communication.<\/p>\n<p>Our ACGME-accredited <a href=\"https:\/\/keck.usc.edu\/otolaryngology\/training-education\/residency-program\/\">residency<\/a> and our <a href=\"https:\/\/keck.usc.edu\/otolaryngology\/fellowship\/\">clinical fellowships<\/a> train physicians across Keck Hospital of USC, Children&#8217;s Hospital Los Angeles, and LA General Medical Center. In addition, an NIH-funded <a href=\"https:\/\/keck.usc.edu\/otolaryngology\/training-education\/clinician-scientist-training\/\">Clinician-Scientist Training Program<\/a> prepares residents for careers as independent investigators. Our NIH-funded Hearing and Communication Neuroscience program prepares graduate students and postdoctoral fellows for careers in basic and translational science.
