Fellowship Programs

Fellows receive a broad and unique experience that is unmatched

Postgraduate physicians actively participate in the teaching programs of the Keck Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy. Research is strongly encouraged and teaching is expected.

The Department of Pathology offers fellowship opportunities in the following specialties:

• Surgical Pathology (7 positions per year)
• Hematopathology (3 positions per year)
• Neuropathology (2 year program, 1 position per year)
• Cytopathology (4 positions per year)

Rotating through various facilities like Los Angeles County Medical Center, Keck University Hospital of USC, and/or Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, fellows are exposed to a unique and comprehensive spectrum of cases. Fellowship programs are designed to prepare fellows for their future careers.
