href=\"http:\/\/www.aapa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0American Academy of Physician Assistants<\/a> through the student AAPA webpage. The state of California and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) offers a number of loan repayment programs that allow PA graduates to repay significant amounts of debt through post-graduate employment in settings serving medically underserved patient populations. Additional information regarding post-graduate employment can be obtained through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oshpd.ca.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development<\/a>, and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nhsc.hrsa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Health Services Corps<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nhsc.hrsa.gov\/scholarships\/prospective-scholars\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program<\/a>\u00a0(NHSC SP) awards scholarships to students pursuing eligible primary care health professions training. In return, scholars commit to providing primary care health services in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs).<\/li>\n<li>The Renee Fabrizi Scholarship is funded by a generous donor who has compassion for students who are single parents. To qualify, the recipient must be a single parent who can demonstrate a financial need based on raising their children and going to school at the same time. The scholarship selection criteria prioritizes single parents, but the donor is willing to consider students in committed relationships with young children who can demonstrate financial need based on an economically disadvantaged background if there are <i>no eligible single parents<\/i>. The scholarship amount depends on the number of eligible candidates.<\/li>\n<li>PAMC Health Foundation Scholarship funded by a gift from the PAMC Health Foundation &#8220;to promote community health awareness through health education; to support medical research of diseases that primarily affect the underserved communities; to establish health-related community projects.&#8221; It is the\u00a0 their vision: to open doors to the educationally disadvantaged young people from the underserved communities to become healthcare providers in San Gabriel Valley, Downtown Los Angeles, and\/or Metro Los Angeles Region. PAMC Health Foundation Board generously provides scholarship support to students in the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program in the USC Department of Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 56.25% 0 0 0; position: relative;\">\n<div class=\"video-embed\"><iframe style=\"position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%;\" title=\"PAMC Health Foundation PA Scholarship\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/846034525?h=0861384d3c&amp;badge=0&amp;autopause=0&amp;player_id=0&amp;app_id=58479\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The Tania Gill Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of alumnae Tania Gill by supporting USC Physician Assistant students dedicated to advancing primary care in underserved communities. Made possible through a generous gift, this scholarship is awarded to third-year PA students who exemplify a commitment to reducing healthcare disparities and improving access to quality care.Applications typically open in early Spring, providing financial support to students as they complete their PA education and prepare to make a lasting impact in underserved populations. The Tania Gil Memorial Scholarship celebrates the power of compassionate service and a deep commitment to community health.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"18\" data-lineheight=\"27px\">Scholarships for Veterans<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/viterbiadmission.usc.edu\/veterans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Schoen Family Scholarship Program for Veterans<\/a> is for full-time students who have received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces and served a minimum of three years of continuous, full-time, active duty between 2003 and the present.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/osas.usc.edu\/announcements\/usc-engelstad-foundation-scholarship-for-veterans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USC Engelstad Foundation Scholarship for Veterans\u00a0<\/a>The Engelstad Foundation Scholarship for Veterans was recently established at\u00a0USC\u00a0because of a generous gift from the Engelstad Family Foundation. This is the first central gift that gives scholarships to student veterans from all schools within the University.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/arr.usc.edu\/students\/usc-veterans-certification-office\/yellow-ribbon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yellow Ribbon G.I. Education Enhancement Program\u00a0<\/a>for veterans entitled to the 100% Post 9\/11 benefit rate (based on service requirements) or their designated transferees may receive this funding. Active duty service members and their spouses are not eligible for this program (child transferees of active duty service members may be eligible if the service member is qualified at the 100% rate). Due to these requirements, we request that student veterans or their spouses submit the VA Certificate of Eligibility with a service end date (the certificate is mailed by the VA directly to students). Children of eligible veterans or service members may submit the certificate with or without a service end date.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goarmy.com\/amedd\/education\/hpsp.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ARMY: Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)<\/a>\u00a0The U.S. Army can help pay for your advanced medical degree with one of the most comprehensive scholarships available in the healthcare field \u2014 The F. Edward H\u00e9bert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.navy.com\/what-to-expect\/education-opportunities\/graduate-professional-degree-opportunities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NAVY: Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)\u00a0<\/a>If you\u2019re interested in launching a medical career, the Navy offers a variety of programs that can help finance your graduate-level professional schooling all the way through residency. After graduation, you\u2019ll become an Officer and professional serving in the world of Navy health care as a physician, dentist, nurse, health care administrator, health care scientist or clinical care provider.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.airforce.com\/education\/ongoing-education\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">US AIR FORCE: Health Professions Scholarship Program<\/a>\u00a0Healthcare professionals can pursue further studies with financial assistance through the Health Professions Scholarship program. These scholarships cover all tuition and required fees, including textbooks, small equipment and supplies as well as a monthly allowance for living expenses. While on scholarship, recipients spend 45 days on active duty in the Air Force.
