Department of Preventive Medicine
About the Department
The department’s research focus is broad and encompassing, reflecting the scope of population health and preventive medicine, from local to national and even global scales. The educational programs have evolved over time to now encompass undergraduate majors in Health Promotion and Global Health, a professional Master of Public Health program, Masters programs in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, and Ph.D. programs in Health Behavior Research, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Environmental Health.
