Supports clinical and translational research by young cardiothoracic surgeons, including topics related to quality and outcomes research, and studies of new and innovative therapies, procedures, and technologies in cardiothoracic surgery.  Applicants must have completed cardiothoracic surgery training and board certification (or be pursuing it), hold a current academic or hospital appointment, and be within seven years of completing their cardiothoracic residency.
