Michael J. Fox Foundation PD Target Pipeline Program

This program provides grants for projects seeking to build robust evidence to rationalize biological pathways and targets for further translation into new Parkinson’s treatments. The program awards grants in three categories: Target validation, Target Optimization, and Priority Targets.
Selected Funding Opportunities
Internal Funding
The Foundation is interested in supporting innovative, cutting-edge research in any field conducted by Keck junior faculty. The program provides seed funding to help prepare and support investigators as they embark on their careers and start up their independent laboratories.
External Funding
The McKnight Endowment Fund for Neuroscience supports innovative research designed to discover how diseases of the brain can be accurately diagnosed, prevented, and treated. To this end, this award assists scientists to apply basic research to human brain disorders that affect memory or cognition.
Institutionally-Limited Funding
This program provides funding to young investigators of outstanding promise in science relevant to the advancement of human health. Grants are made to selected academic institutions to support the independent research of investigators in their first few years of appointment at the assistant professor level.
