Department of Surgery faculty members, both physicians and scientists, are world-renown in their subspecialties. Dr. Perez is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He has a special interest in all aspects of venous disease and its complications. Dr. Perez offers comprehensive venous treatments such as The VNUS® procedure, EVLA (Endovenous Laser Ablation), foam sclerotherapy, contact sclerotherapy, microphlebectomies and treatments for venous ulcers. He graduated from the University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in 1997 and completed his residency in general surgery at Stamford Hospital-Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in 2006. He is board certified in general surgery and is a fellow of the distinguished American College of Surgeons.\n\nDr. Jose Perez is a community based general surgeon in Glendale, Ca where he practices alongside his father, Dr. Dario Perez. Together they have built a successful practice that has served the patients of Glendale and local communities with nothing but the most compassionate, innovative, and excellent level of care.\n\nDr. Perez's leadership includes his recent appointment as Chair of the Surgery Division at Glendale Memorial Hospital and his long standing embrace of innovative surgical technologies to better serve his patients.
