- Donald G. Skinner, MD, emeritus professor and chair was chosen to receive the 2015 Faculty Lifetime Achievement Award at USC’s 34th annual Academic Honors Convocation.

- Developed a panel of three methylation urine makers that predict bladder cancer recurrence
- Completed phase I evaluation of a novel anti-angiogenic targeted therapy
- World’s largest series: Robotic intra- corporeal orthotopic neobladder with radical cystectomy in 132 patients; the first team in America to routinely offer this surgery for bladder cancer patients
