Our research mission is to advance image-guided, minimally invasive care through clinically relevant, patient-centered investigation, innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>Our division maintains focused expertise across the full spectrum of modern Interventional Radiology research, with particular strengths in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Venous and thromboembolic disease, including deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, endovascular thrombectomy, venous recanalization, and stent reconstruction<\/li>\n<li>Portomesenteric and splanchnic venous interventions, including portal vein and mesenteric vein recanalization and treatment of portal hypertension<\/li>\n<li>Embolization therapies<\/li>\n<li>Interventional oncology, including image-guided tumor-directed therapies<\/li>\n<li>Lymphatic imaging and interventions<\/li>\n<li>Complex inferior vena cava filter retrieval and advanced venous access<\/li>\n<li>Outcomes research, health services research, quality improvement, and value-based care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Faculty and trainees actively participate in clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, device and technique development, and multidisciplinary translational research.
