Dr. Harrison Bai, Associate Professor of Radiology at John Hopkins Hospital, is a nationally and internationally recognized researcher of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical imaging, specifically machine and deep learning. His research focus is applying deep learning algorithms to medical image data for the purpose of disease diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment response assessment.
He’s also a prolific author who has published more than 90 original papers, many with over 5,000 citations, and an H index of 26 on Google Scholar. Through his labs at Brown, and now at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Bai has mentored numerous trainees and peers at all levels, with nearly all advisees successfully authoring research publications, obtaining funding, or both.
