Dr. Tarang Gianchandani is an Orthopedic Surgeon and MBA by qualification and a healthcare administrator by passion. She has over 25 years of experience, both nationally & internationally, in acute & long-term care operations and multi-site management, and in the private & public sectors.

Dr. Tarang is a graduate of Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi. She completed her MBA with specialization in Healthcare Management from National University of Singapore and post specialization in Orthopedics from Singapore. Prior to joining Sir. H.N. Reliance Foundation hospital, Dr. Tarang was CEO of another large multi-specialty hospital. Dr. Tarang also held many strategic assignments at the Ministry of Health, Changi General Hospital & Alexandra Hospital during her 14 years in Singapore. Prior to that, she had experience at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital & GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr. Tarang has been felicitated with numerous awards. She received the Women Excellence Award at the Navabharat Inspiring Women Summit & Achievers Awards 2025, the Healthcare Impact Person at the 7th Healthcare Excellence Summit 2024 by Businessworld, and the Healthcare Leader of the Year at the 6th Edition Navabharat Healthcare Awards & Summit 2023.

She has been recognized as one of the top CEO’s by Newsweek CEO Circle 2025, Healthcare Leader of the Year at the Financial Express Healthcare Summit 2022, and Healthcare Icon of the Year 2022 by Midday Powerful Women. Other awards include Best CEO at Times Healthcare Leaders of Medicine & Technology Awards 2020, Best CEO 2017, Best Business Leader Award for CEO, and Health Excellence Award in 2015 & 2016. She received the Rashtriya Vibhushan Award in 2016 & Rashtriya Ratan Award in 2015. However, she considers positive feedback and wow experiences of patients at hospital as the biggest and best awards.
