California Consortium for Cancer Health Equity Symposium

This symposium will unite experts, researchers, and advocates dedicated to addressing the social drivers of disparities in cancer care delivery and outcomes. Join us for a day of insightful discussions, presentations, and collaboration aimed at advancing cancer health equity. Speakers will include a variety of experts in cancer health disparities and cancer care delivery, from USC Norris, City of Hope, Keck School of Medicine and other academic medical centers. Symposium topics will cover: (1) existing practices for social determinants of health (SDOH) screening at NCI-designated cancer centers and community-based organizations; (2) information about best practices and outcomes for SDOH screening and clinic- and community-based programs; and (3) identify opportunities to integrate data on SDOH into cancer clinical trials, basic science research, and cancer care delivery studies.
