First Generation College Celebration at Soto

A celebration to acknowledge and elevate the achievements of first-generation graduate students at the Soto 1 building (SSB) with food (first 100 participants), campus resources, and activities.
First Gen Celebration Day is celebrated on November 8, the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act (HEA),which created federal student funding and other pivotal outreach and retention programs to support students who are the first to attend college or from low-income families.
This program is open to all eligible individuals. Keck School of Medicine of USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other prohibited factor.
