Dr. Hossein Jadvar, tenured Professor of Radiology, Urology, and Biomedical Engineering is past president and fellow of both the American College of Nuclear Medicine and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Currently also serving as the president of the SNMMI Therapy Center of Excellence, Chair for the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission Advisory Committee on Medical Uses of Isotopes, and a director in the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.

He serves as Editor for Radiology, the Journal of Nuclear Medicine, the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Clinical Nuclear Medicine, and the journal Theranostics. Himself having written 180 peer-reviewed journal articles, published 4 books and contributed to 40 book chapters. Dr. Jadvar holds 9 U.S. and European patents and has had more than 300 invited lectureship or visiting professorships at national and international universities and meetings. His research interests include translational molecular imaging research with major interests in prostate cancer, theranostics, and radiopharmaceutical therapy.
