The Department of Medical Education offers the annual meeting during which all teaching faculty (clinician educators) at Keck School of Medicine take a half day to learn about best practices and latest trends in medical education. The 2025 conference aims to provide faculty development through a keynote and four 75-minute workshops on the following topics: Keynote: Leadership Lessons Learned the Hard Way; and workshops: 1) Providing Effective Feedback: Two Frameworks to Transform Your Approach; 2) Turning Teaching into Scholarship Using Qualitative Methods; 3) Applying Coaching Principles in the Clinical Setting and 4) Creativity in the Clinic and the Classroom: A Narrative Medicine Workshop.
3.5 CME credit available for full participation.
