Talk title: “Overdose Prevention, Detection and Response: Navigating the intersections of education, advocacy, implementation and partnerships”
Talk description: Drawing on his extensive personal and professional experience as an overdose survivor, overdose first responder and overdose program implementer and researcher, Stephen will explore the intersections of overdose education, policy advocacy, program implementation and partnerships with first responder agencies. Topics will include integrating people with lived and living experience in program design and workforce, building partnerships with communities, first responders and government allies, and designing and implementing an overdose detection helpline.
