Overview

Christina Dancz, MD, MPH is a native Southern Californian who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology at the University of Maryland. She then moved to Boston to attend a joint program at Harvard Medical School and MIT before returning to California for residency at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and continued on to complete a Masters degree in Public Health and fellowship in Female Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery under the guidance of Dr. Begüm Özel. Dr. Dancz is currently an active staff member and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Keck Medical School. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine/Reconstructive Surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program Director at USC/LAC+USC. Dr. Dancz’s research interests include the effects of pelvic organ prolapse, medical education and quality improvement. She is active in student, resident and fellow education and has received numerous teaching awards. In her personal life, she has three active daughters, and tries to make time for dancing and social activism.
