Chloe Powell, MPAS, PA-C joined the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program as a Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine in 2015. She brings with her exemplary technical skills and a wide breadth of experience based on 20 plus years of clinical practice.
A proud graduate of the 1994 Primary Care PA Program at USC, Mrs. Powell graduated Magna cum laude from California State University Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor of Health Science degree, and in 2003 completed a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska. Focusing her career in urgent and primary care, she founded clinics in the Long Beach area for anti-coagulation and heart failure management. Augmenting her clinical practice, she designed interactive, age appropriate presentations to guide youth into healthier diets for the Long Beach Unified School District, conducted sports physicals for young athletes, and provided healthcare oversight for foster children in summer camps.
The mother of three sons and a daughter, Mrs. Powell considers learning to be a lifelong process and finds great satisfaction in preparing PA students to be not only excellent clinicians, but motivational leaders with a commitment to community service and promoting health.
