Overview

For many years, Dr. Dubeau has been a leading practitioner, educator and researcher in the field of ovarian cancer biology. A native of Canada, Dr. Dubeau first came to USC as a post-doctoral fellow at the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. During his time at USC, Dr. Dubeau has achieved the status of full professor, become director of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center published numerous peer-reviewed articles for medical journals and lectured at medical conferences and seminars across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Hungary, Turkey and Greece. Dr. Dubeau is a renowned researcher and has been awarded over fourteen million dollars in research grants, many dealing with either ovarian cancer biology and genetics or with environmental issues such as exposure to and effects of air pollution. A devoted educator, Dr. Dubeau has mentored over fifty students, either as a member of their PhD advisory committee or by training doctoral and graduate students. Dr. Dubeau also has found time throughout his career to give lectures on health related subjects to area public school students.
