Overview

This program will focus on providing the attendees an update on the latest aspects of ophthalmic best practices across the field, research updates for recently approved therapies for ophthalmic diseases, and updated research regarding pipeline therapies that may soon be available. 

Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

 

  1. Identify and discuss the most recent techniques in the management of ocular conditions.
  2. Apply current research to improve diagnosis and management of patients with a variety of ocular diseases in the general ophthalmology clinic.
  3. Evaluate the benefits of preventative medicine in the management of degenerative ocular disease.
  4. Examine the efforts used to mitigate the severity of, or to regenerate the function lost due to degenerative ocular disease.

 

Accreditation

The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received by the USC Office of CME by email only by June 20, 2023 at 12:00 pm PDT for a refund. A $50 cancellation fee will be applied. In the event of course cancellation by conference organizers, all registration fees will be fully refunded. USC will not refund any travel costs incurred.
