  • The data that is automatically included in a profile is currently available on other public websites, specifically the USC DirectoryPubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov. Your professional contact information is obtained from the USC Global Directory System (GDS), which also provides information to the central USC Directory. This information is updated daily.

Publication listings are derived from the MEDLINE/PubMed citation database. These are retrieved weekly.

Overview and other personalized data is entered by the profile owner or a designated proxy of the self-service tool. For more information regarding updating your information please see: CTSI frequently asked questions.

  • There is some information that you can hide. Take a look at the CTSI frequently asked questions to help you. If you need a little extra help, feel free to email profiles@sc-ctsi.org.

  • In order to update your profile, follow these steps:

    1. Click here and search for your faculty profile. This is your faculty profile built by CTSI.
    2. Take the time to read through your profile, looking for areas where changes are needed. A great deal of automation takes place behind the scenes so you may find some items are inaccurate.
    3. Now you can update your profile. ** You will need your USC NetID and password (this is the same as your workday login). A portion of this profile’s data comes from USC’s Workday and other automated tools. The new Keck School of Medicine website will display a stripped-down version of this profile, but you will want it to be an accurate representation of your overall activities as a faculty member.

For a step-by-step demonstration of signing in and updating your profile, view this presentation: www.slideshare.net/scctsi/how-to-enhance-your-usc-health-sciences-profiles-page.

  • The Keck School of Medicine of USC offers photography studio services for a standardized headshot. Much like the clinical standard photos, these photos are taken in studio and can be scheduled through this link.

  • If your profile is displayed in the main index directory, but your profile is not available within your department site, please contact your department administrator. Faculty profiles can only be added upon administrator request to George Martinez (mart671@usc.edu).

  • You need to access your workday account to update your preferred name; (click to update your information.) If you need information on how to use workday, please visit (workdayhelp.usc.edu).

  • After completing a profile update on the CTSI  website, it takes approximately 4-24 hours to fully propagate to the Keck School website. If you are still having issues please reach out to profiles@sc-ctsi.org.

  • Business faculty titles are displayed from workday (University-wide HR system) based on your employment contract. For errors or change inquiries, please contact Faculty Affairs at keckfa@med.usc.edu.

  • Please complete this form. Once submitted Faculty Affairs will make the update. (Please allow up to 7 days for systems to sync.)
