Brandon M. Wiley is the Chief of Cardiology at LAC+USC Medical Center and Associate Professor of Medicine at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.
Prior his transition to LAC+USC, he was an Associate Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine and Director of Point-of-Care Ultrasound for the Department of Cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

He completed internal medicine residency at University of California, San Francisco, general cardiology fellowship and advanced echocardiography training at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and critical care medicine fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, critical care medicine and echocardiography.

Dr. Wiley is a Fellow of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE). He serves on several societal committees including, the ASE Critical Care Ultrasound Committee, ASE Industry Relations Committee, ACC Critical Care Cardiology Committee and he is the Vice-Chair of the SCCM Critical Care Ultrasound committee.

He has is active in critical care ultrasound and cardiac critical care education and has been involved in programs both nationally and internationally.

His research has focused on cardiac critical care as well as echocardiography and point-of-care ultrasound in the cardiac intensive care unit.
