David S. Shin, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at Keck Medicine of USC. He is an interventional radiologist and specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

Dr. Shin earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees at Stanford University. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. He has been an attending physician since 2016.

Dr. Shin is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a Diplomat in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology. He is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), and Western Angiographic & Interventional Society (WAIS).

Dr. Shin takes pride in using cutting-edge Interventional Radiology technology to perform safe and effective procedures for patients with various medical conditions. He is an expert in portal hypertension management, deep vein thrombosis treatment, and liver cancer therapy.
