Overview

Dr. Tamadonfar is a board certified neurologist specializing in movement disorders, including Parkinson’s Disease, dystonia, tremor, and ataxia. She has expertise in botulinum toxin injections for movement disorders and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy for Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor, and dystonia. Dr. Tamadonfar serves as site primary investigator and sub-investigator for several clinical treatment trials for Parkinson’s Disease and Essential Tremor. In addition, she has special interest and training in clinician and resident education and research. In her educational role, she serves as the movement disorders fellowship co-director.

Dr. Tamadonfar’s research and teaching serve her patient-centered approach to clinical work that relies upon well-informed patients about their diseases and treatment strategies. This ensures greater patient participation in their care and improves quality of healthcare provision.
