Overview

Hans Harn’s research focuses on mechanobiology, regenerative medicine, and wound healing. He has extensively studied tissue mechanics in skin development and regeneration, including wound-induced hair follicle neogenesis and the self-organization of skin organoids. His work has contributed to understanding the role of mechanical forces in tissue regeneration and the development of bioinspired strategies for wound healing.
