Overview

Dr. Gibson’s laboratory seeks to optimize treatment regimens for challenging infections. Our primary focus is management of drug-resistant bacterial infections in cystic fibrosis, particularly non-tuberculous mycobacteria. We utilize a hollow fiber infection model to optimize current therapeutics and test novel treatment approaches in vitro.
