Overview

Dr. Chiriboga believes in providing evidence-based care with a compassionate and patient-centric approach. His practice focuses on comprehensive Family Medicine, treating patients across all spectrums. He has added qualifications in HIV Medicine, Gender Affirming Care, Diabetes Management, Hospital Medicine, and medical education.

He was the Associate Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at San Joaquin General Hospital (SJGH). As a core faculty member, he taught many generations of Family Physicians. As the founder and collaborator of three family medicine-oriented clinics, Dr. Chiriboga helped to expand healthcare access to members of underserved populations in the California Central Valley.

Dr. Chiriboga earned his medical degree from the Universidad Catolica del Ecuador. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the SJGH program affiliated with the University of California at Davis. He is fluent in Spanish. His interests are spending time with his family, rooting for the Sacramento Kings, revisiting everything about Star Wars, and following the soccer world.
