Overview

Dr. Laura Kalayjian is Chief of Neurology and Director of the EEG Lab at LAC+USC Medical Center. She completed medical school at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA and completed her neurology residency at Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA. She was fellowship trained in epilepsy and neurophysiology under Dr. Martha Morrell at Columbia Presbyterian, New York. She accepted a position at USC in July 2000. She has been active as co-director of the comprehensive epilepsy program and continues to pursue her research interests in women with epilepsy, hormonal influences and pregnancy and quality of life issues in persons with epilepsy.
