Mitzi D'Aquila, MACM, PA-C currently serves as Associate Program Director for the Division of Physician Assistant Studies at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She originally had joined the clinical education team as Clinical Coordinator in 2010 and completed her Master of Academic Medicine from the Keck School of Medicine of USC in 2014. She served as Director of Clinical Education from 2017-2021. She is the course director for two clinical courses, Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, and co-directs the senior semester Clinical Skills IV course.

Her clinical background includes over 10 years of experience in pediatric hospital medicine at Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Prior to graduating from the USC PA Program in 2001, she was a Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) participant. She has three peer reviewed publications and over 20 national, state or invited presentations. She led a team that conducted PAEA-sponsored research on web-based technology to enhance preceptor recruitment. She is Chair of the Curriculum Committee within the program. She continues to be a Director-At-Large on the Board of Directors for the California Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Physician Assistants in Pediatrics.
