Mofya S Diallo

Mofya Diallo MD, MPH is a Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology.

Dr. Diallo’s interests include pediatric acute pain management, health equity and diversity, equity and inclusion in medicine.

Dr. Diallo was an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at George Washington University for 7 years and practiced pediatric anesthesiology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC. There, she was director of regional anesthesia, involved in education and operating room management. She was also the inaugural chair of diversity, equity and inclusion for the preoperative services focusing on enhancing the culture, education and collaboration among faculty surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and operating room staff.

Dr. Diallo completed her undergraduate degree at Lincoln University PA with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Mandarin. She also completed research internships at the MIT Howard Hughes Institute and the Wadsworth Institute in neuroscience during her undergraduate education. She completed graduate school in public health with a focus in environmental and occupational health at Drexel University. She completed medical school at Pennsylvania State College of Medicine and residency in anesthesiology at Emory University. Dr. Diallo completed her pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at George Washington University.
