Overview

Payton A. Brown, AuD, is a clinical audiologist with the USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery, part of Keck Medicine of USC. She specializes in evaluating hearing loss in both adults and children and assists patients with hearing rehabilitation. Her passion is rooted in cochlear implants and the delivery of evidence-based clinical services.

Dr. Brown finds great joy in her specialized field of audiology, leveraging her clinical and personal expertise to help individuals reconnect with sound. Dr. Brown believes that everyone deserves equal access to high-quality care, regardless of age, diagnosis or background. Her goal is to empower patients with the motivation and resources they need to achieve their personal hearing goals, whether through traditional hearing aids, bone conduction devices, cochlear implants or other assistive listening technologies.

Dr. Brown earned her doctoral degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and completed her externship at Keck Medicine of USC. She is also a clinical assistant professor with the USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Brown is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

In her personal time, Dr. Brown enjoys traveling, eating delicious food, attending concerts and snowboarding.
