Anne Maddocks Michels

Anne Maddocks Michels, MD joined USC Student Health as a full-time gynecologist in the fall of 2018. Michels, a New York native, has practiced obstetrics ang gynecology for 20 years. She graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2000 and completed her residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2004.

After moving to California for the weather, Michels joined the OB-GYN department at Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park. Three years later, Michels was promoted to partner physician, a position she held from 2007 to 2018.

At Kaiser, she held several quality management roles, overseeing the peer-review process for the OB-GYN department and leading quality and safety projects.
