CPBH Research Symposium

The USC Center for Personalized Brain Health (CPBH) Annual Symposium convenes leading researchers, clinicians, and collaborators to share the latest advances in Alzheimer’s disease and brain health. The program reflects the center’s integrated, end-to-end approach—spanning population science, genetic risk (APOE4), clinical research, digital tools, biomarkers, imaging, drug discovery, translational science, and clinical impact. Ultimately, it aims to ignite and accelerate collaboration and the application of science into real-world impact for patients at risk for cognitive decline.

2026

The USC Center for Personalized Brain Health (CPBH) convened leading researchers, clinicians, and collaborators for its 2nd Annual Research Symposium: Advances in Personalized Brain Health, on April 14, 2026.

The program highlighted the center’s end-to-end approach to Alzheimer’s disease—spanning genetic risk (APOE4), biomarkers, and early detection, through to drug discovery, translational science, and clinical impact.

Key themes included:

  • Advancing precision risk stratification through genetics and biomarker innovation
  • Therapeutic development targeting neuroinflammation and lipid biology
  • Integrating lifestyle, imaging, and population science into brain health strategies
  • Deepening understanding of neuropathology and disease mechanisms
