Overview

Dr.Garsa is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiation Oncology at USC Norris Cancer Hospital and USC + Los Angeles County Medical Center. He joined USC in June 2017.

Dr. Garsa graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed his residency in radiation oncology at Washington University School of Medicine. In addition, he competed a CNS radiation oncology fellowship in at the University of California San Francisco.

After completing his clinical fellowship, Dr. Garsa was on the faculty at UCSF specializing in the treatment of head and neck, CNS, skin, and lung cancers. Dr. Garsa has presented and published multiple studies investigating advanced imaging technologies and radiation therapy techniques to allow for maximal therapeutic effect while minimizing treatment side effects.

Clinical Expertise: Head and Neck, CNS, Skin Cancer, and SBRT
