Dr. Smith earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. She then performed her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at LAC+USC Medical Center. Dr. Smith is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatric, Hospital, Palliative and General Internal Medicine. She is also an instructor of the Professionalism and the Practice of Medicine course at the Keck School of Medicine.
