Dr. Cushing is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics in the Division of Emergency and Transport Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). She is an attending physician in the emergency department at CHLA and health services researcher. Her research focuses on applying advanced computation methods and new technology tools to improve outcomes for children and adolescents experiencing mental health crises in the emergency department.
