Overview

Dr. Ashish Vyas joined USC in November 2025. He is originally from Freeport, IL but was working in the southwest Chicago suburbs in private practice for 9 years as his first job out of IR fellowship doing both interventional and diagnostic radiology. He developed a hospital based interventional radiology program and was section chief of IR for 9 years. He also started an outpatient IR clinic. Together the IR clinic and hospital-based IR practice became one of the best and busiest community based IR programs in the Chicagoland area. He also served as President of his group for 2 years.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, their dogs and family. He enjoys running, boxing, movies, traveling and exploring new restaurants.
