George Yaghmour

George Yaghmour, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Jane Anne Nohl Division of Hematology and Medical Director of the Norris Blood Allogeneic Stem Cell & Bone Marrow Transplant Program at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Yaghmour specializes in leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, bone marrow failure syndromes, Mast cell, other rare hematologic disorders (PNH, HLH), and allogeneic stem cell transplantation at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. A graduate of the University of Aleppo, he completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center/West Cancer Center. Board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology, he leads nationally recognized transplant and cellular therapy programs, directs clinical research in novel immunotherapies and rare blood disorders, and has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. Deeply committed to mentorship, community service, and patient advocacy, Dr. Yaghmour is an award-winning fundraiser and national leader supporting blood cancer research and care.
