Overview

Dr. Sohn’s major area of research is echocardiography. She is the imaging co-PI for multiple multi-center percutaneous valve trials. She is the director of structural echocardiography and is part of the team that performs percutaneous valve procedures, including TAVR, Mitraclip and other new percutaneous heart devices.

Dr. Sohn earned her medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine. She then performed her internal medicine internship and residency at Georgetown University Hospital at Washington Hospital Center, followed by a fellowship at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Cooper University Hospital.
