Overview

Dr. Vassey uses a multi-method approach that bridges digital surveillance with behavioral science. She conducts AI-driven and human-coded content analysis and social network analysis to examine tobacco-related marketing on social media platforms popular among youth. She also analyzes youth perceptions of this marketing using data from observational and experimental surveys.
