Overview

Dr. Katina Murray is the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs for the Department of Family Medicine and a Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Princeton University and later obtained her Doctorate of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and has worked in primary care since 2011. She served as owner and CEO of her Alexandria, VA-based healthcare consulting firm, providing physician services to military families at Andrews Air Force Base before returning to Atlanta to join Emory Healthcare where she served as Lead Physician for her clinic site and Medical Director at Agnes Scott College.
Dr. Murray is a board-certified physician who provides primary care services for patients of all ages. She practices evidence-based medicine and strongly believes in partnering with her patients to help them achieve their personal healthcare goals. She is passionate about providing quality to care to a diverse population of patients and addressing disparities in access to healthcare for underserved communities. She has a particular interest in preventive medicine, women’s health and family planning, adolescent health and wellness, and effective management of chronic diseases (such as hypertension and diabetes).
